Patentwerk is an internationally operating Dutch patent agency which serves both Dutch and foreign clients, including a number of international enterprises quoted on the international stock exchanges. We also act on behalf of several non-European patent offices.

Our patent attorneys have University degrees in all major fields of technology: mechanics, electronics, chemistry, process engineering, civil engineering and life sciences. We are therefore capable of handling all types of inventions.

The internal organization works with a quality management system which complies with the ISO 9001 standard. Use is made here of CPI software to guarantee effective administrative processes.

Patentwerk can be of your assistance in drafting patent applications and prosecuting European patent applications up to grant. We are also qualified to act on a National level in the Netherlands and Belgium. Other competences of the specialists of Patentwerk are litigation, oppositions, appeals and assisting clients when entering into licence agreements. Patentwerk is not only engaged in patent activities, but also takes the time to properly inform its clients and involve them in all relevant procedures.

One example of this is the support provided to a number of clients in the management of their large patent portfolios. We can also place our in-house legal expertise at your disposal. We cooperate with specialist colleagues in associated fields to obtain intellectual property rights other than patents, in particular trademarks and models, and in conducting legal proceedings.
